Daughtry

My friend and I went to the Daughtry concert in SF on Sunday night and I have to start off by saying he is as HOT in person (if not hotter) then he is in pics and on TV. He was WONDERFUL!!!! This concert reaffirmed my love for him. He had wonderful stage presence, and he knew how to work the crowd. He sounded great too!! Slim's is a small place so we were about 20 to 30 feet from the stage which was awesome (binoculars not needed). I made shirts for my friend and I to wear and I had ironed on some words (Sign Here Chris) in a very "convenient" place but unfortunately we did not get his autograph. After the show we waited outside for over a hour because his tour bus was parked right in front of Slim's but when he finally made his way out, he was whisked away Rocky Balboa style with a black hooded sweatshirt on and several escorts aka bodyguards on both arms.....I had my sharpie all ready for him, cap off and all, I asked him to sign my shirt but they just walked right past and in to the bus. I was so bummed!!! All that waiting and nothing. Worst part about it. I went on one of his fansites the next day and found out he did reemerge from the bus after we left and there were pictures of other girls with him to prove it. I can't believe I missed him!!! I have a plan though. He is playing in Sacramento tomorrrow so I told Vince that we will just have to go to that club around the time that the show will be over and wait it out again and this time we are not leaving until that bus pulls away. I soooo need an autograph and I think I need a picture with him too now. I will let you all know if I am successful with that tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I have to say though, I would love to see them again, they were really good and I am just so thankful and grateful that my brother in law and sister were able to make this dream a reality for me. This show was really better then I could have ever imagined.
