Mixed Bag

Well I got the results from my latest scan and the news was good, things are "pretty stable" aside from a few spots in my bones worsening, but on the other hand there were a few spots that look better, so a mixed bag but all in all the doctor and I were pleased. So we continue on with the same treatment for 3 more months and then scan again.

I am gearing up for Shelby's birthday party. She is having a Twilight themed birthday and wouldn't you know it, the first person to RSVP was a boy. Actually we have only gotten 3 RSVP's and so far it's 1 girl and 2 boys, what's wrong with this picture. I am hoping the girls are going to just show up. Either way it will be fun and she is looking forward to it.

Sydney lost a tooth but forgot to put it under her pillow which in turn lead to the tooth fairy forgetting to leave money. She was upset when she woke up but remembered the following night and the tooth fairy came through for her quite nicely. I don't know where that lady gets all her money but she must have gotten a large raise since I was a kid cause she leaves a lot more for a tooth these days!

I am excited, I booked a trip to Disneyland so it looks like we will be going in February. This will be the 3rd year we have gone at this time and it is so nice to go in the "off season". Unfortunately, this will be the last year of "off season" visits to Mickey because both girls will be on a traditional school calendar starting next school year. Shelby will be because she is moving on to middle school and Sydney's school is going to traditional due to budget cuts. So just when I was really starting to like year round, it will be going away.
